Albertine: Your Shoe for Every Occassion

What if you could have a shoe for every occasion? I’ve recently discovered Albertine Shoes, a new brand of shoes made in Italy that allows you to customize your heels with interchangeable platforms, colors and prints, heel heights, and even the upper base of the shoe itself! Imagine being able to have one pair of shoes to seamlessly transition from morning to night, with a classic black pair for a meeting with the boss, to a pastel style for an afternoon shopping date, and ending the night with a glittery statement pair for a dance party with the girls.

The brand has recently launched a crowdsourcing campaign on Kickstarter, and they need your help to raise funds to bring the product to the US and launch a special, “Made in the USA” collection. With only 7 days left for this campaign, the founder and designer Alexandra Alberta Chiolo hopes to bring her vision of the perfect shoe for every occasion beyond Italian borders and into American stores. Fellow readers and bloggers, if this campaign piques your interest, check out the below video to learn more, as well as the campaign page here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/795911935/albertine-revolutionary-shoes. If you like what you see, you can pre-order a pair, or just share the Kickstarter campaign link or this blog post with your own social networks!

I’ve personally got my eye on the Sweetest Collection, which features a range of themes from an assortment of stripes in pretty pastel colors, to the “Gummy” line, which is inspired by cotton candy with fun color combinations such as pinks, purples, and yellows. I also love that you can customize the heel height and the platform height – we’ve all been in those situations when we want a lower heel for work but maybe a higher heel for a dinner date, but don’t want to bring two pairs of shoes or have the time to go home and change. Now with Albertine I don’t have to make a choice between the two and compromise my style I would love to hear your thoughts on the brand as well, so feel free to comment below or shoot me an email!

Thanks for reading,
Mary
