Evolving Style

ASOS sweater dress, Zara boots, Jacket and Cardigan from China, Dress bag
As I approach my late 20’s (my 27th birthday is next week, eek!), I find that my style has slowly evolved with my age. I’ve started to realize the importance of investing in quality classic pieces, and I’m more into unfussy and easy dressing than I’ve ever been before. If you look back at my posts from even a year ago, I was all about high-waisted skirts and fancy tops, and there were hardly any posts of me in pants or basics. As I get older, I find that my tolerance for complicated outfits decreases, and one of the pieces that I now find essential in my closet is a throw-on and go sweater dress. In this outfit, I kept warm and chic with a simple sweater dress and layered a tartan jacket and long black cardigan for a cool and streamlined look.
Speaking of aging, I’ve been trying out this new eye cream called Oz Naturals Super Youth Eye Gel (available on Amazon)*. The texture is amazingly light and it absorbs into the skin quickly and seamlessly! It’s made from all-natural ingredients, which is super important for me when it comes to putting creams on my face. I’m hoping to prevent wrinkles and get rid of dark circles and puffiness – so far I don’t see a vast improvement yet as I’ve only used it for a few days, but I do like the way it feels on my skin and provides a cooling sensation.
How do you guys feel about getting older? I’d love to hear your thoughts and also recommendations on your favorite anti-aging creams!
