Off the Shoulder Top Loves & Challenges



The off the shoulder top is arguably one of the biggest trends this summer. I finally got around to embracing this trend when I saw this cute striped top on sale at Need Supply Co – I was sold by the flutter sleeve and cropped length. The only challenge I have with this top in particular is that the neckline does not seem to stay off the shoulder, so every time I move my arms in an upward motion the neckline rides up as well. Not the most practical top, but it does look great when I’m not moving!




I paired the top with a mesh midi length skirt to balance out proportions, and finished the look with platform sneakers and a fun bag for a pop of print. The great thing about the off the shoulder trend is that it inevitably adds a sense of ease and breeziness to any outfit, and choosing a print like a navy stripe makes it totally classic and cool at the same time.
