A Trendy Alternative to the Little Black Dress

Boho Chic Little Black Romper

Little Black Romper and Fringe Kimono
If you’re looking for a fun and trendy alternative to the little black dress, a polished little black romper is a great way to go. A romper is inherently more casual than a dress, allows for more freedom and movement, and is sure to standout amongst a sea of dresses. If you’re looking for a dressier piece, I suggest materials such as mesh, silk and chiffon, which add a look of sophistication. The piece I’m wearing here is from LF a few years ago during their annual summer sale, and works for both a casual summer day and a night out at the local bar.

I love wearing this romper on the weekends because it’s just so comfortable and easy. I paired it with a lace kimono for a festival-inspired boho vibe, and completed the look with lace-up sandals and a layered necklaces. I added a subtle touch of color with a mint Rebecca Minkoff bag, I’m totally digging this color for summer.

Thanks Sonia! I have trouble with jumpsuits too sometimes, I have the best luck with looser fitting cuts.
