A short-sleeve army green jacket can be a really great way to add an interesting layer to a summer outfit. I’m a big fan of layering and love to find ways to incorporate it even during warmer weather. This is one of my favorite vintage finds from
Edith Machinist, which is also one of my favorite vintage stores in NYC. If you are a fan of curated, wearable, and relatively affordable (prices average ~$100) vintage items, I highly recommend making a trip there if you’re in the area.
Vintage jacket (from Edith Machinist), Everlane tee (here), Banana Baby shorts (from Asia), Everlane loafers (here, on sale), Chloe Drew bag
I wanted to go for a casual look, so I paired the jacket with a sleeveless tee and lightweight loafers, both from Everlane. This brand is one of my newest obsessions as they make such great basics that are high quality and chic, and totally reasonably priced! I’m starting to increasingly value having good basic pieces in my closet, they can really help a girl out on those days when I feel like I have nothing to wear and help balance out a more eclectic piece.
