This is one of my favorite boho chic outfits to date, and the best part is the top and skirt combined is only $35! Can you guys believe it?! So you must be wondering where I scored these two lovely and wallet-friendly pieces. The adorable bowtie top is from Rosewholesale, and the skirt is from Zaful. I’ve written about both sites and featured their items previously in this post. Seriously, I’m obsessed because the items are trendy and chic but the prices are so low.
I fell in love with this top the moment I saw it on the Rosewholesale website. I’m a fan of anything with bowties on it, and this top is feminine without being overdone. The black and white color palette helps add a classic element and makes it look expensive. My only regret is that I sized up and ordered a Medium, so the top is a bit loose and the straps are too long. My usual size Small definitely would have fit me better, but according to the Rosewholesale size conversion chart Small equates to a US 0 and Medium equates to US 2. Given that I’m a US size 2/4, I went with the Medium according to the chart. So I would not recommend following the size conversion chart if you’re considering ordering from the site. Go with your usual size and you should be fine.
The same size issue happened with this Zaful skirt as well. I went with a Medium based on the size conversion chart, but I would have fared better with a Small. The Medium is a bit loose at the waist, causing the skirt to move around when I walk. This skirt is also meant to be form-fitting, so a Small definitely would have been better for me. Last time I ordered from Zaful the top was One Size fits all, so I didn’t have this issue. So lesson learned, I’m going with my normal size next time.
For the rest of the outfit, I mixed high and low and chose my Celine bag to elevate the look. I also paired the maxi skirt with heeled wedges given my petite frame. For my jewelry, I chose a colorful bracelet and lots of rings to keep with the boho chic vibe.
