How pretty is this vintage floral slip dress that I found at the Brooklyn Flea market in DUMBO? This is actually my first slip dress ever, and of course it had to be vintage! I fell in love with the floral print and lace lining, it has a bit of a nightgown feel as most slip dresses do, but when paired with the right items it can look totally effortlessly chic. The great thing about this dress is that it’s a solid transitional piece to take you from summer to fall as the color is darker, so it could work under chunky cardigans or layered over a turtleneck in cooler weather.
What I’m Wearing
: Vintage slip dress (similar here), Zara cardigan (similar here), Vintage flats (similar here), Deux Lux shoulder bag (similar here), Cluse watch
I paired the dress with this gorgeous pink chiffon jacket-cardigan thing I got from Zara a few months ago, I am legit obsessed with this piece and was so excited to wear it when the weather cooled down slightly last week. A good styling trick is to pair a slip dress with something more oversized to balance out the delicateness of the dress. I really like the way this outfit came together as it gives off a feminine-romantic-boho vibe, three of my favorite styles. I finished the look with a shoulder bag and vintage flats to add an extra touch of boho chic.
