One of my fall essentials is a lace-up blouse that goes with everything. This linen blouse is from an Australian brand Camixa and is the perfect blush color, not to mention it’s super soft. I love a lace-up blouse for so many reasons, so today I’m sharing my top 3 reasons to own a lace-up blouse and tips on how to style them.
Reason 1: A lace-up blouse is a great alternative to the classic blouse for when you want to look extra stylish. It combines classic with boho chic, and is perfect for that effortless but polished vibe.
Reason 2: A lace-up blouse is super versatile for Fall. You can pair it with wide-leg jeans for a 70’s look, with a mini skirt for a night out, or with a maxi skirt for a bohemian look. It would also look great layered under a fringe or denim vest, as well as paired with a leather jacket. There are so many possibilities!
Reason 3: A lace-up blouse adds just a hint of sex appeal to an otherwise proper shirt. In the blouse I’m wearing, the lace-ups are go pretty far down and allows for just a peek of a pretty lace bra underneath. Of course this might not be appropriate for all occasions, so there are options with a smaller lace-up that leaves more room for imagination.
I decided to go for a boho chic vibe in this outfit and paired the blouse with a fringe mini skirt and over the knee boots. I kept the outfit polished by keeping the colors to three tones: blush pink, black, and grey. I accessorized with a hat to add an extra bohemian flair and achieve that quintessential Fall look. For my jewelry, I chose multiple rings to keep with the boho chic theme.
