Girls’ Holiday Brunch Outfit: Pink Coat & Festive Details

‘Tis the season for holiday outfits galore! I’ll be featuring various holiday inspired looks in the next few weeks for different occasions, so be prepared for some super festive outfits (insert Christmas tree emoji). Today’s look would be perfect for a girls’ holiday brunch outfit as it’s feminine and fun. I started with this gorgeous Badgley Mischka pink coat that I scored at Saks Off Fifth in Tanger Outlets for more than 70% off. Of course I fell in love with the blush pink color, but what sold me on the coat is the thick wool material. So not only is it a beautiful coat, it’s also warm. Who says you can’t look stylish in the winter?! I have never been a fan of puffer coats and you will never see me in one, so I always look for thick wool coats that are functional and stylish.

I wanted to pair the coat with festive pieces that feel happy and celebratory. So I chose a vintage vest with gold embroidery, and a teal skirt with pearl embellishments. This is one of my favorite skirts that I picked up in Asia a few years back, putting pearls on a skirt is just genius and makes the piece extra special. To add some edginess to the look, I wore my new Coach Turnlock Creeper Slides in black leather. I had been eyeing these shoes since they came out in the Spring, and they finally went on sale a few weeks ago for almost 50% off. I’m slightly obsessed with them as they just add an instant cool-girl factor to any outfit. You might be thinking that slides are impractical for Winter, but just pair them with thick socks and you’re good to go. They are also super comfortable and great for travel.

For my accessories, I kept it feminine and dainty with a small Gigi New York shoulder bag to match the pink coat, and various minimalist rings including a Mejuri gold ring and a rose gold ring. I offset the blush pink coat with a gray colored nail polish to keep with the pastel tones. I also added a little sparkle with Kendra Scott rose gold earrings. Both the ring and earrings are from Rocksbox, a monthly jewelry subscription service. You can get one month free with code LAYERSOFCHICXOXO.
