Today’s post is the second installment in the Carrie Bradshaw Style series. I’m aiming to post this series every two weeks on Fridays, so you all can hold me accountable if that does not happen! If you missed the first post, you can check it out here featuring a polka dot skirt and black peacoat. I love the sophisticated color palette of Carrie’s outfit with a mix of mustard, dark green, and brown. I had to recreate this look because I happened to already have the mustard skirt, so the rest was pretty easy to put together.
Asides from the outfit itself, I’m also in love with the location of this shoot. These beautiful brick arches are located in Dumbo, Brooklyn. I went on a weekday with a blogger friend and it was just the perfect location for a shoot as it was picturesque and quiet. The brick walls surround a courtyard, so there are plenty of options. Dumbo is just full of shoot opportunities, I can’t wait to go back and do more photos!
