How to look feminine…it was only a matter of time before I wrote a post about this! My style is super feminine and it comes so naturally to me, so today I thought I would share with you my tips on nailing feminine style. Of course not everyone wants to look feminine all the time, but if you’re looking for a few easy tips for your next date night or girl’s brunch, hopefully you’ll find this helpful!
How To Look Feminine
Wear a dress: This is the oldest trick in the book! This white crochet dress from Chicwish is super feminine and perfect for Spring and Summer. Chicwish is an online retailer based on Hong Kong with the most prettiest and most whimsical pieces. The best thing about this white dress is that it is not completely white and has a green and yellow wildflower print that makes it so much more special. This dress would be great for a bridal shower or engagement party if you’re a blushing bride, or for a Springtime date at the botanical gardens. The dress is see-through, but have no fear because it actually comes with a white slip underneath! I love the delicacy of this dress contrasted against the urban feel of the city.
Put a flower/braid in your hair, or better yet both: If you’re not sold on wearing a floral white dress, try a flower in your hair instead. It’s an easy way to add a feminine touch without committing to a full floral look. I totally lucked out with this hairstyle – I got it done at a blogger event right before shooting photos, and of course the hairstylist happened to have fresh flowers!
Add some pretty accessories: Go all out with your feminine look with a pair of floral sandals or statement tassel earrings. I matched both my earrings and my shoes to my dress for an ultra-feminine vibe. I’m wearing lace-up sandals from Poetic Licence and marble tassel earrings from Stella & Dot.
A few extra details you can add are delicate bracelets for a subtle sparkle, pearl rings, and a ladylike vintage bag. If my look is too feminine for you, the good thing is you can take elements of it to create your own look that would work best for you. Just remember, channel your inner princess and you should be good to go!
