As you guys might be able to tell, I definitely had fun with this shoot! This one shoulder ruffle bodysuit from Rosegal is one of my favorite statement pieces, not to mention it’s only $20. I don’t know about you, but this bodysuit looks way more expensive and super high fashion to me, so it’s one of those rare finds that people just won’t believe. I got stopped on the street so many times from people asking where it’s from, and they couldn’t believe it when I told them it was only $20! Since this bodysuit is just so fun, I was inspired to put together a fun and flirty look that embraces the not so serious side of fashion.
I paired the bodysuit with a body con style striped lace-up skirt. I usually don’t wear body con skirts as my style is more cutesy than sexy, but I’m embracing the newly single side of me and getting a little bit out of my comfort zone. I attracted a lot of stares walking down the street in this outfit, and I will have to admit that I may have slightly enjoyed it. I felt like strutting when I wore this skirt, and even more so with these Reebok Classics sneakers. I chose to pair the look with sneakers to contrast with the tight skirt, and I love the cool girl effect it gives to the outfit. To add an extra flare of fun, I wore diamond print Happy Socks with the sneakers.
Keeping with the fun and flirty vibe, I paired the bodysuit with the biggest pom pom earrings ever from Baublebar. Since the bodysuit has a one shoulder neckline, I chose large earrings for a statement effect. These earrings are seriously so me, they are absolutely adorable, and I can’t say no to anything pink. I also went with a pink shoulder bag to match the earrings, and completed the look with layered bracelets and my fun nail art.
