As you all must be tired of hearing by now, I moved into a new apartment in July, and am still on a decorating kick. My latest project has been researching wall décor ideas and figuring out what to do with my living room walls. I have super high ceilings (13 feet!), so I knew I needed a large frame to fill out the space. As a blogger, of course I gravitated towards getting a photo of myself framed, which also seemed appropriate given that I’m single and loving my new bachelorette pad. You guys, it’s allll about me.

Using the service Framebridge, I decided to frame a very special shot of me taken in Koh Samui, Thailand at the Four Seasons resort (hop over to this post to see the full travel diary). I took this trip earlier this year in February to celebrate Chinese New Year’s with my Dad’s side of the family. This was a very special trip for me as my Dad lives in China, and it was the first time in over 10 years that I’ve been able to go back to Asia for Chinese New Year’s. The trip was made extra special as my best friend, who moved to London, was also able to join. She is actually the one that took this gorgeous shot of me standing over the edge of our private in-villa infinity pool. As cheesy as it sounds, this photo perfectly captures the mood of the trip and the happiness I felt being surrounded by my loved ones in such a beautiful location.

Framebridge is great as it lets you create custom photo frames in different sizes and frame styles. All I had to do is upload my digital photo and choose my custom frame. I really enjoyed picking out my frame – I wanted something classy and feminine that would complement my gray velvet couch. I settled on the “Newport” frame, which is an antiqued silver frame in a warm champagne tone. I went with the 25.25″ x 29.75″ frame, and it proved to be the perfect size to standalone in my living room. However, you can choose any other sizes as well depending on your space. The photo is such a statement piece that it works well on its own.

Framebridge also offers smaller frames for it you want to create a gallery wall. Since everything is customizable, you can essentially design your own gallery wall however you like! So if you’re looking to for some new wall décor, you can use my promo code layersofchic15 at to get 15% off your first order with Framebridge. Valid until 12/31/2017.

Love the framed photo on the wall. So simple, yet really adds character to the wall. Also, that floral pillow is sooo adorable!
