OK, I’m sure you guys are wondering what’s up with this Parisian style outfit taken in Little Italy. Well, when you can’t find a Little Paris in NYC that’s close to you, you settle for Little Italy. At least they are on the same continent, right?! This blouse and silk scarf are both vintage, scored from an online vintage store called Daisy Del Sol. They have super cute and wearable vintage pieces at affordable prices. I love their selection of vintage blouses, like the one I’m wearing which has shoulder pads and a fun feminine print. For a Parisian touch, I tied the vintage scarf as a bow, and also added a polka dot beret that’s a must for any Parisian style outfit.
For my handbag, in true vintage Parisian style I went with only a vintage opera wallet. Back in the day, ladies didn’t need to have big handbags or big cellphones, so all they needed was a wallet. Full disclosure, I totally had this wallet in a handbag and just pulled it out for the photoshoot. I paired the blouse with a vintage pleated skirt that was actually my Mom’s, and completed the look with lace-up floral sandals. For my jewelry, I kept it simple with two colorful rings.
Tomorrow is the start of NYFW, so I will be quieter here on the blog for the next week, but will be posting regularly on Instagram. So be sure to follow along for all my NYFW outfits and show updates!
