The pearl embellishment trend is all the rage this season, from pearl sweaters to pearl boots to pearl jeans. I’ve been dying for a good pearl sweater, and this knot twist one from SheIn has the pearls on the back of the sweater rather than in the front or sleeves, which is a nice surprise. I like that it’s a little more unique than all the other pearl sweaters out there, and the design on the back gives it an unexpected (and literal) twist. The best part is that this sweater is only $16, making it on-trend and affordable. Being the matchy-matchy girl I am, of course I had to pair the sweater with a pink pearl beanie and pearl wrap scarf, don’t the three pieces look like they were made for each other?!
For a cute winter outfit, I paired the pearl sweater with a figure-hugging fishtail skirt. I like how the tight skirt helps balance out the looser fit of the sweater. To add some additional feminine and cutesy touches, so I went with white striped socks paired with pink velvet booties. I also chose my watermelon crossbody bag for an unexpected pop of color. I like how the bag contrasts sharply against the wintery vibes of the outfit. I kind of feel like a doll in this look, which is pretty normal for me considering my doll-inspired looks here & here.
