This was one of those shoots when everything worked out perfectly. The morning light was beautiful, the streets were quiet, and I found the perfect spot for that quintessential West Village street style shot. We took these photos in front of the restaurant Casa, where the white restaurant contrasts quaintly with the brick apartment building on top. The intersection of the street also made for an eye-catching shot. This elegant style outfit is something that I would wear for a nice dinner out in village during the Winter, as it’s both warm and chic at the same time. I love this lace eyelet Self-Portrait skirt, it’s so feminine and the epitome of elegance. I will admit however that it is not the easiest to walk in as there is no stretch in the skirt, making it hard to take big steps. But that’s just fashion, my dears.
I paired the skirt with a blush pink cashmere turtleneck from Uniqlo for a feminine and sophisticated vibe. To balance out the longer length of the skirt, I chose silver suede pumps. For my accessories, I went with my favorite bow leather clutch, a chic necklace, and a brown and rose gold watch from Gelfand & Co. I’m loving the effortless elegance of this outfit, I would dress like this every day if I could!
