This vintage fur coat from Daisy Del Sol makes me feel like such a lady. The green color gives the coat a luxe feel, and for being faux fur it is actually my warmest Winter coat. Green is not a common color when it comes to fur coats, so I knew I hit the jackpot when I saw this on the Daisy Del Sol website. I was a little worried about the coat being too big, but the oversized fit actually works well as it gives the coat that luxurious feel of being wrapped in something soft and warm. This coat reminds me of one of those classy Upper East Side women who waltzes into Barney’s on her way to lunch. That’s the great about vintage fashion, the clothes have the ability to invoke a feeling and transport you to another place. I’ve previously written about Daisy Del Sol in this post, they offer the best of both worlds with tons of curated vintage finds, as well as on-trend contemporary pieces.
I paired the coat with a vintage Victorian blouse also from Daisy Del Sol. I’ve always wanted to own a white Victorian blouse, it’s definitely an essential piece for how to dress like a lady. I love the delicate lace collar and the sheer candy cane striped sleeves. I’ve never seen any other blouse like it! I can’t wait to wear it during the Spring with high-waisted jeans. To balance out the longer length of the coat, I chose a faux leather mini-skirt and platform high heel boots. I added an extra touch of femininity with lace boot toppers that look like knee socks.
No ladylike outfit is complete without a hat, so I went with a pink vintage beret from Daisy Del Sol. I like that it adds a sharp pop of color to the outfit. For my accessories, of course I chose a vintage handbag, along with a vintage opal ring paired with smaller rose gold rings, and a rose gold watch.
