Some of you might know that traveling is not my favorite thing and actually causes me extreme anxiety and stress. I am heading to London and France this week for my best friend’s wedding (she is getting married in Provence), and it has been quite stressful getting everything ready for the trip and completing all my shoots and deadlines before I leave. One thing that has helped make traveling easier for me is my favorite luggage brand, American Tourister. I love their colorful and stylish suitcases that always put a smile on my face and go so well with my style. Having a suitcase that I love actually makes an impact on my mentality. It helps me look forward to traveling because I get to use the suitcase, and I don’t dread packing as much. You might think I’m exaggerating, but for someone like me who doesn’t particularly enjoy traveling, bringing a fashion element into it with a stylish suitcase really does make a difference.
I really like American Tourister because their suitcases are affordable and stylish. Compared to brands like Raden and Rimowa, American Tourister suitcases are much more affordable, and frankly, more unique in design. My medium sized 24” Rose Gold suitcase retails for $219, but is actually currently on sale for $76, which is an amazing deal! I love the rose gold design, it’s the perfect companion for a feminine and modern woman. The suitcase is lightweight yet sturdy (I’ve lugged it all around the NYC streets with no issues), with two large compartments and a mesh pocket with zipper. I picked the rose gold design as I feel like the feminine elegance will fit right in with the charm of Europe. For my travel outfit, comfort is my first priority, but of course that doesn’t mean forgoing style. I really like wearing athleisure clothes when I travel, so I picked this cute tropical print set that is the perfect way to kickoff Summer. I always bring an extra layer with me for the plane, so I chose an oversized denim jacket. I completed the look with minty green sneakers and a white perforated bag that can be used as a bucket bag or as a larger tote bag. Since hats are hard to pack, I’ll also be wearing my straw hat that’s essential for any Provence trip.
Two of my other favorite pieces from American Tourister are my popsicle suitcase and ombre suitcase. I just love how colorful and happy both designs are, why not inject some life and personality into your travel essentials, right?! The Popsicle suitcase works as a carry-on size at 21” and is perfect for a weeklong trip (I brought it to Atlanta me as you can see in this post). The ombre suitcase is great for a short weekend trip on its own, or as a companion carry-on piece for a longer trip when you don’t want to check your essentials. I get compliments on this little ombre number all the time, I actually picked it up when I was in Asia at the Venetian Macau.
And with that, I’m peacing out babes. I’ll see you guys over in London!
