I’ve always wanted to shoot on the Brooklyn Bridge, and having lived in New York for over 7 years now, it’s crazy to think that this is my first time shooting on the bridge! I knew that I wanted to be dressed up for the shoot and needed an outfit that would really pop against the bridge. So I chose this pink cocktail dress from Rachel Roy that quickly became one of my favorite dresses to date and really is the perfect pink dress. The silhouette of the dress against the bridge is just magical, it invokes a sense of romance and beauty. This dress is one of those pieces that is just made for me and completely expresses my sense of personal style. It’s actually amazing that it’s under $150 considering the flawless fit and that fact that it looks so classy and expensive. Asides from the color of the dress, I also love the ruffle neckline and billowy hem.
I paired the dress with a handmade gold embellished bag from Simitri Designs. This bag is great for special occasions and pairs well with a bold colored dress. I also went with a silver cocktail ring by Christianne Cruz Designs in the shape of a ring pop. I love how unique this ring is, I’ve never seen anything like it. Each ring is handcrafted and made to order.
Keeping with the feminine vibe, I chose my vintage inspired silver heels from Royal Vintage Shoes. I absolutely adore these shoes, they look like they stepped straight out of a 1920’s film. The silver sparkly buckle is what really gets me. You might have also noticed that my hair looks a little bit blonder than usual. I recently got more blonde highlights done by the talented Kat from Amika Style Blow. I’m finally blonde, and I couldn’t be happier!
