A vintage Chanel bag has always been one of my dream pieces to own. Sadly, my current budget doesn’t align with my dreams, but I’m so happy I’ve been able to work with Designer Revival and have a chance to shoot with this gorgeous red vintage Chanel bag. Designer Revival is a luxury consignment store based in NYC and online, and if they sound familiar, it might be because you’ve read about them in my previous posts here & here. The great thing about Designer Revival is that they have amazing, one-of-a-kind designer finds for way less than the original price. I’ve never seen a Chanel bag like this vintage red one, it’s so feminine and ladylike, and it’s also in great condition.
I decided to style the bag with a vintage Chanel blouse and vintage Chanel denim skirt, because nothing is really quite as fitting for a Chanel bag than other Chanel pieces. This vintage floral blouse is made from the most delicate chiffon, and I love the subtle color that makes it super versatile. I paired it with a bright pink denim skirt for a pop of color. I really like the frayed hem detail on this skirt, plus there is a decorative back button with the Chanel logo. It’s all about the small touches that make a piece special.
