Riding bikes in Central Park is a quintessential Summer activity, but finding a cute bike riding outfit can be challenging. I want to be comfortable but stylish, and being the clumsy person I am, I know that any type of dress or skirt is out of the question when I’m on a bike. I’m also not a pants person, especially during the Summer, so I decided on a cute and flirty Summer romper. This cherry print red romper from Molly + Zoey is the perfect biking riding outfit as it allows for full range of movement, shows just the right amount of skin, and is super on-trend and stylish. I don’t typically go for deep V-neck pieces as I find them hard to wear, but my friend encouraged me to get this romper and live a little. The best way to wear a piece like this is to go braless and wear fashion tape instead.
For a sporty chic look, I went with my white Converse All Star high-tops as the obvious shoe choice. This is actually my first pair of Converse ever and I just got them 2 months ago, and I have to admit I have trouble finding outfits to pair the Converses with. I think it’s because I’m not used to wearing sneakers with my looks, so I was happy that the Converse sneakers worked so well with this red romper.
I completed my bike riding outfit with a watermelon purse that can be worn cross-body so that both hands are free to hold onto the bike (which is much needed as my bike riding skills are subpar, at best!). I also chose pink sunglasses, and layered boho necklaces to go with the V-neck cut of the romper. I love how fun and flirty this outfit is, who says you can’t look cute while riding a bike!
