Polka dots are one of my favorite prints to wear, so today I thought I would show you guys how to mix polka dot prints like a boss. It is not as initimating as you think to wear head-to-toe polka dots, in fact it can be a lot of fun and create a bold statement look. For me, it’s easier to mix polka dot prints when both prints are the same size and type of polka dot. For this outfit, I’m wearing a blouse and pants that have similar sized white polka dots, making the pieces look like they go together. I love the color of this blouse as it is perfect for Fall, and the billowy sleeves and high neck make it quite sophisticated. But the real showstopper of this outfit are the polka dot ruffle pants from QUIZ Clothing. I knew I needed these pants the moment I saw them on the site, and they definitely did not disappoint when I got them!
Another key tip to mixing polka dot prints is to break up the prints with accessories. For this outfit, I chose a solid turquoise circle bag to contrast against the polka dots and the colors of the outfit. I like how the bag really pops and adds an unexpected element to the look. For my shoes, I went with black pumps that have a bedazzled heel, also from Quiz Clothing. I completed the look with round sunglasses to give this outfit a retro vibe.
