A Beautiful Day in Storm King

Outfit details: COS sweater (here), Vintage skirt, Nike sneakers

Storm King Art Center has been on my bucket list for ages, and last weekend the boyfriend and I finally made it there! Located in the Hudson Valley, it's a perfect day trip away from NYC, and we picked a lovely Sunday with tons of sun and clear skies. The sculpture park was gorgeous, filled with large and small-scale pieces of art that just took my breath away. Not to mention the spanning scenic views and remainders of fall foliage, it was definitely worth the visit.

For my outfit, I wanted to be comfortable and well-equipped to walk and climb, so I chose Nike sneakers, and paired them with a simple sweater and a vintage maxi skirt for a romantic-boho vibe. We found this gorgeous field of high-grass that was just the perfect setting for photos, I couldn't resist going into the field and letting my inner flower girl run wild.

Underneath the Coat

COIINCOS coat (from China), Opening Ceremony Dress, Nice Claup boots (from China), Vintage handbag

It finally feels like Fall! Meaning it's finally cold enough to wear my favorite coats, and pair them with body-hugging sweater dresses underneath for a sexy yet subtle look. I love the drama that a good coat brings to an outfit, and my favorite part is always the reveal, when you take the coat off to reveal an unexpected silhouette. This sweater dress is one of my staples for Fall/Winter, I found it at an Opening Ceremony sample sale and just love the strategically placed roses and the flattering shape. I paired it with a yellow statement coat and high platform boots for a relaxing stroll through the park.

Pleats and Prints

& Other stories blazer, & Other stories crop top, Zara boots, Celine ring bag (here), Madewell necklace

I'm loving the color combination in this outfit: I think mustard, burgundy, and navy just might be my new favorite color palette for fall. This blazer is a new purchase from & Other Stories, I got it on sale and I love the versatility of the shape and the fun print! I paired it with a crop top and one of my favorite pleated skirts, and toughened up the look with black leather boots.
