When I saw this gorgeous lace-up sweater on the Tobi website, I knew it was love at first sight. First of all, it’s my favorite color, blush pink. Secondly, I just love the unexpected lace-up detail on the side of the sweater rather than at the neckline. This sweater is seriously the softest piece, plus it’s so cute and effortless. I think I’m just going to be living in it this winter.
For an effortless look channeling my inner model off-duty, I paired the blush pink sweater with distressed white jeans and cut-out pointed booties. I kept with a simple color theme and chose a B&W plaid print bag, and added a cool girl factor with an electric blue bracelet paired with my Cluse watch. I also layered two delicate rose gold necklaces for a feminine touch. As I always say, achieving a stylish outfit is all about the details.
Who else is digging this shoot location? Lately I’ve been trying to pay more attention to the location when I shoot, rather than just picking any random street. These photos were taken in Tribeca right by the Canal Street Pedestrian bridge, which I used to cross every day on my way to work. I really like the cobblestone streets and the building in the background, it’s got a very industrial city feel to it. So if you’re ever looking for a place to shoot in NYC, definitely try this area out! It’s also pretty quiet even on the weekends, which is a bonus for being in Manhattan.
Hope everyone had a good Halloween! I’m taking it as an excuse to eat lots of candy.
