I finally got a chance to take photos at the famous Love Wall in NYC’s Little Italy district! For those of you wondering exactly where the wall is, it’s at the intersection of Kenmare Street and Mott Street, and close to the coffee shop Greecologies for reference point. For the occasion, I chose a feminine boho chic look with a rose pink Tobi dress and my favorite new pink velvet boots from ASOS. These boots sold out almost immediately when they first came out, and I stalked the ASOS site almost every day waiting for them to come back in stock. They are currently out of stock again, but I would recommend checking every day if you really want them, as they usually come back!
What I’m Wearing: Dress: Tobi, Boots: ASOS (sold out, similar here), Vest: Housing Works (similar here), Bag: Chloe (more affordable option here), Watch: Cluse, Bangle: Kate Spade, Rings: Mejuri & Gorjana, Nail Polish: Duri in Red Velvet
When I first received this Tobi dress, I was slightly concerned about the low-cut neckline as I don’t usually wear such low-cut pieces. So I decided to layer a vintage vest over the dress and pair it with a pretty lace bra, and I quite like the end result. Tobi has a ton of great low-cut pieces, I recently also wore a v-neck blouse made by them in this post. I’m definitely starting to get more comfortable with this style, there’s something really sexy about a subtle low-cut silhouette.
I scored this vintage vest at the Housing Works 2nd avenue store opening last Saturday for only $25! I’m digging the fringe details and seriously boho chic vibe. A vest is an awesome piece for layering when you want to add some dimension to your look.
For my accessories, I chose my grey and pink Chloe bag and wore it cross body for a downtown look. I also stacked my pink Cluse watch with a rose gold Kate Spade bangle, and finished the look with various rings.
