Happy Friday loves! I’m feeling a bit under the weather today but am powering through with Airborne to get this post up featuring one of my favorite dresses. Seriously, how gorgeous is this blush pink dress from & Other Stories?! It’s a perfect dress for a romantic date during the day when you want to look subtly sexy but leave some room for imagination. Back when I was dating, figuring out what to wear for a daytime date was always a struggle. You want to look cute and wear something special, but at the same time not be too dressed up and look like you’re trying too hard, and worst of all look slutty in any way. This blush pink dress provides just enough coverage with feminine details that make it special but also effortless.
This dress is all about the details, like the bowtie at the neck and sleeves and the flounce design at the waist. I love that it’s a loose fit that invokes a sense of mystery and romanticism – I totally envision the main character of an epic romance novel wearing this dress while running through a field of flowers. I wanted to pair the dress with equally romantic details. I chose my new Kate Spade lilac bag to go with the blush pink color and keep the look soft and feminine. To give the outfit a luxe feel, I wore a vintage gold necklace and various gold rings.
I completed the look with a rose gold watch from Klasse14 to further amp up the luxe vibe. I’ve seen plenty of rose gold watches, but not anything like this watch. The unique design on the face of the watch coupled with the mesh band makes it a standout piece. I got so many compliments when I wore it with this dress. I can’t wait to pair it with rose gold bangles for an arm candy party!
Unfortunately this dress from & Other Stories is sold out, but I’ve linked similar options for romantic blush pink dresses below.
