A gray cardigan is an essential piece when it comes to layering and comfort. I like cardigans that have a slouchier, oversized fit to achieve an effortless look, and I also like details that make the piece special. So when I saw this tasseled cardigan with medallion details and a fun aztec print lining, I knew it would be the perfect piece to add to my transitional Winter to Spring wardrobe. And the best part of all is this cardigan only costs $34! I think it looks way more expensive and the trendy details totally make this a standout piece.
The boho vibe of the cardigan inspired me to go for a boho chic outfit. I paired the sweater with a Design History suede dress with pockets and a scalloped hem. A suede dress invokes a 70’s vibe that goes perfectly with the looser fit of the cardigan. Since the dress is on the shorter side, I chose OTK leather boots in a light pink color to contrast the darker colors of the outfit, and added a quirky touch with heart print tights. For my jewelry, I piled on three layered necklaces to keep with the bohemian theme, and chose a rose gold Thomas Sabo ring for a feminine touch. I finished the look with a thrifted red bag for a pop of color.
The great thing about this cardigan is that it works for every season. For Winter and Fall, it’s an essential layering piece under your outerwear. For Spring, it works great with a dress or jeans to act as light outerwear. For Summer, pair it with your favorite maxi dress for those cool summer nights.
