For all the cool girls out there who’s not into the frilly Valentine’s Day outfit, this post is for you! I wouldn’t necessarily call myself a “cool girl”, but I like to experiment with different styles and take an unconventional approach when it comes to dressing up for a holiday. This look is also a good option for a casual date where you would want to be comfortable and be more active. Read on to see my 3 essentials for achieving a cool girl casual chic V-day look.
For the rest of my outfit, I chose a pink blazer from a UK brand called TwentyFour to complement the pink sneakers and sunglasses. To add an extra element of cool, I went with a pair of wide-leg jeans with bowtie details on the sides. This is one of the purchases from my recent trip to Asia and I am just absolutely obsessed with this denim. Some of my favorite pieces have actually been found in Asia, where the style is a bit more cutesy and exaggerated than what you might find in the U.S. These jeans are by a Japanese brand Honey Mi Honey and it looks like they are already all sold out online. I finished the look with a rose gold watch and bangle, delicate rings, and sparkly black nail polish.
