The Spring season is a time to revive and refresh your beauty routine. I’ve been sticking to a Spring beauty routine that focuses on healthy hair, skin and nails using natural products whenever possible. One product that I’ve recently added to my beauty routine are supplements for my skin and nails from the Glow by Nature Made® line at Target. The supplements provide moisture for the skin†, and there are different products for your hair & nails, skin hydration, and skin + sleep. I’ve never tried supplements before but have always heard positive things about them, so I was curious to give the Glow by Nature Made® products a try.

Spring Beauty Tips: My Routine for Healthy Hair & Nails

  • For healthy hair and nails, as mentioned I’ve been using the Glow by Nature Made® Skin Moisture + Hair & Nails supplements on a daily basis. I usually take the pills with lunch if I remember, and if not I’ll take them with dinner. The supplements contain ceramides, which help support skin hydration†. Additionally, the Hair & Nails product has biotin, which is known to help support healthy hair, skin, and nails‡. Since incorporating the supplements into my routine, I’ve definitely felt a difference.
  • For my hair, I’ve also been using the amika nourishing hair mask in the shower after I shampoo. I essentially use it as a conditioner 3 times a week, but you can also use it as a deeper treatment and leave it on your hair for a longer time. It smells like fresh berries, and always leaves my hair feeling soft and healthy.
  • Lastly, after drying my hair, I’ve incorporated a hair oil into my routine and have been using one by Pai-Shau. The oil helps to smooth out my hair and reduce frizziness, as well as add moisture and shine.

Spring Beauty Tips: My Routine for Healthy Skin

  • For my skin, I’ve been focusing on getting a natural glow and investing in good face products. I use the Purlisse Blue Lotus cleansing milk for my face to remove makeup and cleanse the skin gently. I’ve also been on a huge face mask kick and have been using them once a week. My skin always feels super refreshed and glowy after a face mask!
  • After cleansing my face, I also like to use a few drops of the Trilogy Rosehip Oil. I have both the regular one and the light blend, and alternate between the two. The light blend is great for those of you who might be new to face oils or just want a lighter treatment. The oil helps lock in your moisturizer and seal in all that good stuff.
  • Lastly, for my lips, I’ve incorporated a lip scrub from French Girl Organics. I chronically suffer from dry lips and read that exfoliation is the key, so I’ve been trying out the Rose Lip Polish. So far so good, it definitely leaves my lips feeling softer and more importantly the benefits seem to last longer than 5 seconds.
