This might be one of the most casual outfits I’ve ever posted on the blog. My blogger friends are always shocked whenever I wear jeans or something casual, but it’s not because I don’t like dressing casually. I just always feel the need to be “dressed up” for a blog post and feature a more unique outfit than a blouse and jeans. But I’ve been told that my more casual outfits are pretty cute, so I figured I would post one on the blog today. This outfit is something I would wear on an “off-duty” day running errands in the city, as it’s easy and polished at the same time.
To make this off-duty look a little more interesting, I chose a floral vintage blouse to go with the black denim jeans. These black jeans are from NYC based denim brand Mott & Bow and they fit like a glove. I love the slits and the high rise skinny fit. They are extremely flattering and go with everything! For a day running errands, I like to have a big tote bag that can fit all my essentials, such as this reversible leather tote from Ramos Mode. I completed the look with nude wedge sandals for a sophisticated touch, and layered bangles paired with my Ted Baker watch. I wanted this shoot to capture the essence of NYC street style, so I posed next to a Citibike and hailed some cabs. It was actually quite funny because several cabs actually stopped, and one non-cab driver stopped and tried to hit on me. Oh the adventures of shooting as a blogger!
