This look is all about flower power! For those of you scared of prints and color, you might be in sensory overload right about now. I was inspired by this fabulous daisy coat from Pariah 5K to mix floral prints for a head-to-toe statement look. This coat caught my attention immediately with its bright blue color and bold print. Made in the USA, Pariah 5K specializes in creating pieces with whimsical and eclectic prints. Doesn’t that sound totally like my style?! That’s why I am so excited to work with them and bring you today’s post. Asides from the print, I love that the coat has a hood that gives it a cool factor and makes it super functional for rainy days. Also, notice that the coat has a pretty pink lining that is perfect for wearing it open and with the sleeves rolled up. It’s all about the details that make a piece special, and this coat is definitely a showstopper.
Rather than pair the coat with understated pieces, I decided to go all out and mix floral prints instead. The key to mixing floral prints is to find a common color to work with. I went with pink bell bottom floral pants that pick up on the pink lining of the jacket, giving this outfit a coordinated look. The daisy print on the coat and the red floral print on the pants go well together, and pink and blue is a classic color combination. To give the look a more streamlined effect and balance out the crazy prints, I chose a light pink turtleneck to go under the jacket. For my shoes, I continued the color coordination and chose blue suede mules that match the jacket.
To pull off a bold look like this, you can’t be afraid to accessorize! In this case, more is more, and everything dazzles about this outfit. I chose pink mirror sunglasses from DIFF eyewear for a cool street style effect. Keeping with the whimsical vibe of the coat, I went with a celestial charm bracelet from Sequin. This bracelet is seriously so gorgeous, every charm is exquisitely made and I can’t stop staring at it when I’m wearing it! I paired the bracelet with delicate rings from Ragen Jewels, including a star one to match the bracelet. I completed this eclectic outfit with a velvet cat bag.
