Happy Black Friday loves! I remember when I was in high school and looked forward to Black Friday so much. I would get up early to go shopping and stand in the long lines waiting to get into the stores. Over time, the appeal of Black Friday has slowly lost its magic, partially because my tastes have evolved and partially because I do get a lot of clothes now as a blogger. Nowadays if I do want to do some Black Friday shopping, the internet is as far as I’ll go. One of my favorite places to get clothing online is Chicwish. You guys know I LOVE that site and have featured their pieces so many times (a few examples here & here). They are having 15% off any order over $70, so if you are eyeing any pieces, now is the time to buy! This vintage style lace-up back top is from Chicwish and is one of my favorite finds from them to date. Unfortunately it is currently sold out, but the site has tons of other cute tops such as this gingham ruffle sleeve top and this ruffle chiffon blouse.
Asides from the lace-up back, I also love the bowtie sleeve detail and the billowy sleeves. This top is definitely a vintage style lady’s top. Rather than styling it with a high-waisted circle skirt (trust me I was tempted!), I decided to modernize the top by pairing it with blush pink pants. Choosing pants to go with this top gives the look a sleek city vibe, rather than a 1950s housewife vibe. I also like how the bowtie on the pants match the bowtie on the sleeves. It’s all about those subtle details! To add a pop of color to this outfit, I chose suede burgundy heels from Pelle Moda to complete the look. For my accessories, I chose feminine and classic pieces: a bright pink handbag, leather watch, and a statement floral necklace.
