I’ve wanted to try the Rachel Zoe Box of Style ever since it came out. I remember watching The Rachel Zoe Project when I was in college, she’s always been a style icon for me and I love her eclectic, boho chic style. So I was super excited when the Winter 2017 Box of Style arrived on my doorstep. The Rachel Zoe Box of Style is a luxury subscription box that’s delivered 4 times a year, one for each season. Each box contains at least 5 full-sized products, all carefully selected by Rachel Zoe herself. For the Winter 2017 box, I was happy to find that 3 of the products were accessory items that can be easily incorporated into an outfit. Read on to see what the items are and how I styled them.
The Winter 2017 Box of Style focuses on occasion dressing and comes with the perfect accessories for a glamorous look. My favorite piece is the white Box Clutch that is actually designed by Rachel Zoe exclusively for Box of Style. I love the vintage deco vibe and the luxe hardware, plus it comes with a removable chain strap that allows it to be worn over the shoulder or crossbody. Complementing the clutch is a Faux Fur Stole, which I styled by wearing it over my top. This piece is a great way to instantly add glamour to any outfit, and serves as a luxe alternative to your winter scarf. The final accessory in the box are statement earrings from House of Harlow 1960. These earrings are super chic and sophisticated, and come in handy when you need that extra dose of sparkle.
For my outfit, I decided to go with an uptown girl look fitting with the accessories. I was inspired by this asymmetric skirt from SILK NY that’s classic yet sexy at the same time. The plaid print totally channels that uptown girl vibe, but the asymmetric slit gives it that downtown girl edge. I paired the skirt with a feather top for a party-ready look. I completed the outfit with my new Jeffrey Campbell pearl heeled booties. I’ve been dying for pearl booties ever since I saw the Nicholas Kirkwood pair, so I was ecstatic when I found these at a fraction of the price, and in blush pink. I definitely grabbed these up immediately!
